Association des étudiantes et étudiants handicapé(es) de l’Université Laval
L’ADÉHUL is a student association at l’Université Laval which was created to allow students living with a disability to voice what is needed in order for them to succeed in their studies. It allows students the opportunity to accomplish gratifying goals and have an active university life. Their objectives can be summarized as follows:
1- Facilitate access to information regarding the resources available on campus;
2- Encourage meetings and maintain bonds of solidarity between students with disabilities enrolled at Université Laval;
3- Bring awareness to the student body of the challenges faced by students living with a disability;
4- Promote the hiring of students living with a disability;
5- Offer sponsorships and aid to new students to facilitate their integration.
In order to become a member of ADÉHUL, you must be enrolled at Université Laval and must live with either a physical, sensory, or mental disability. The association is also open to any individuals living with a disability who wishes to become a member. In this case they may participate as an active supporting member.
