Ross C. Purse Doctoral Fellowship
The Ross C. Purse Doctoral Fellowship, valued at $12 500, is awarded to a doctorate student with a visual impairment who is enrolled in a Canadian college or university and whose thesis examines the link between blindness or visual impairment in one of the following fields : psychology, sociology, social work, education, philosophy, biomedicine, gerontology, or another field in social science. Preference will be granted to applicants whose topics could have a national impact. The chosen candidate must be a Canadian citizen and demonstrate academic success in previously completed courses.
