The Mattinson Endowment Fund Scholarship for Disabled Students is valued at $2500 and is a non-renewable scholarship. It iss offered to students diagnosed with a major functionaldisability. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and be enrolled in a program leading to their first undergraduate degree.
In addition to this scholarship, the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) offers a program of scholarships for disabled students. These scholarships are intended to motivate disabled individuals to pursue a course of study leading to a Bachelor’s degree. The eligibility criteria for these scholarships are :
- Have a diagnosed and documented permanent disability;
- Have been a Canadian citizen or permanent resident for at least two years;
- Be enrolled in a full-time studies leading to the students first Bachelor’s degree.
