Centennial Flame Research Award

The Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities offers an award to a person with a disability to enable him or her to conduct research and prepare a report on a Canadian with disability and his or her contribution to the public life of Canada (involvement) or to the activities of Parliament. Applications will be assessed without regard to the level of post-secondary studies in which candidates are enrolled. The recipient will be allowed one year to complete the research. Applicants must present the following documents:

–       Proof of Canadian citizenship 

–       A supporting letter from someone other than a relative or the person whom the research project is about.
