Adapted Transportation Joliette
In the municipality of Joliette, adapted transportation is offered by: Transport Adapté Joliette Métropolitain.
The admission procedure is the same as most of the Lanaudière municipalities. You must submit a form that needs to be completed by a health care professional. You must attach a photo that needs to be 1 inch by 1 inch (2.5cm by 2.5cm) in dimension.
The office hours are from: Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 6pm. If you wish to make a reservation you must call between Monday and Friday from 8am until 4pm.
Service is offered 7 days a week (From Monday to Sunday) 7am until midnight. Fare rates depend on the municipality; however it is similar to regular transportation. If you require to be accompanied by someone, they must follow the rules and regulations that apply.
There are four types of authorized accompaniment: Optional, obligatory, related to parental responsibilities, and by destination. Service is only free if the person accompanying you is obligatory. If not, they must pay the same fare as you. If you must be accompanied due to parental responsibilities, you can be accompanied by your child if they are under the age of 14. Only children 5 years of age and younger will be able to travel for free. In the case of optional accompaniment, your accompanier will only be able to travel with you if there is space remaining in the vehicle.
